Honors & Awards Show

CEO/Founder

Tamisha Horton

Tamisha Horton was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Livingston, Texas.

She recalls listening to the wonderful sounds of Blues and Zydeco during her childhood years. Some of her childhood favorites include, Al Green, Betty Wright, Marvin Gaye, Clifton Chenier, Rocking Doopsie, Joe Simon, and BooZoo Chavis.

Tamisha founded The Zydeco, Blues and Trailride (ZBT) Honors and Award Show to recognize Zydeco/Creole Artists, Southern Soul Blues Artists, Trailride Associations, and Trailride Clubs who have made great contributions to the music world through their various musical talents. Furthermore, the show also presents awards to the individuals who contribute to the success of these artists such as the Producers, Videographers and Photographers.

The show’s vision is to acknowledge and honor the two music genres that have been overlooked for quite some time, Blues and Zydeco. Additionally, Tamisha wanted to show her appreciation to the Trailride Associations and Trailride Clubs that have given back to the various communities. Unfortunately, their acts of kindness have gone unnoticed until now. These good deeds will now be shared with the world just as she envisioned.
